Health and Well-being Partnership
 
The Partnership brings together all key agencies with an interest in health in the Borough to lead and to co-ordinate joint working with a view to improving the health and wellbeing and reducing the health inequalities that exist in the Dudley Borough.  The Partnership also manages and monitors joint working arrangements between the Primary Care Trust  and the Local Authority.
 
It has sets its priorities as addressing the health impacts of:
 
  • obesity,
 
  • alcohol and drugs,
 
  • accidents,
 
  • smoking
 
  • teenage pregnancy.
 
The structure of the Partnership also contains sub-groups to specifically address the needs of older people, people with learning disabilities and those with mental health problems.
