The Board is positioned at the head of the Partnership’s structure but takes advice from and works with the Partnership’s thematic partnerships and other sub-groups. The Board is made up of representatives from the key public sector agencies, voluntary and community sector, private sector and other stakeholders. It plans to meet quarterly. It acts like a board of directors to set the strategic direction of the Partnership and to monitor performance, focusing on how collaborative action between the partner agencies with clear accountability can improve service delivery for local people and strengthen local communities.
