Dudley's Approach to LAAs 2007/08

• The DCP's Performance Management Group (PMG) was expanded, with revised terms of reference and membership, to become the Steering Group for the development of Dudley's LAA
• A number of events took place to raise awareness and understanding about LAAs (locally, regionally and Nationally) involving a wide range of stakeholders.  Presentations and notes from these events can be found on the Dudley Information Page 2007/08.

• The DCP drafted it's initial LAA Outcomes framework by the end of July 2006, and was submitted to Government Office in September 2006, with a final version agreed February 2007.

• The Guidance for Round 3 LAAs, such as Dudley was launched on 31st March 2006, and is available on the LAA Further Information Page.
• The formal process for 3rd Round areas to commence development was 3rd April 2006, and Dudley was ahead of the game.
