Dudley's Neighbourhood Renewal Fund

Dudley's Neighbourhood Renewal Fund

Dudley has been in receipt of Neighbourhood Renewal Fund (NRF) since the National NRF Programme commenced in 2000.  Click here for information relating to the National Neighbourhood Renewal Fund and Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy.

Dudley receives substantially less NRF than other Black Country boroughs as the amounts are allocated based on the levels of disadvantage existing within an area, as determined by the Index of Multiple Deprivation.  A number of different activities have been funded by NRF in Dudley during the first 5 years of the programme 2000/01-2005/06, contributing to the National Neighbourhood Renewal Floor Targets

Dudley’s continuing receipt of NRF has been possible due to the Dudley Community Partnership securing a positive annual assessment (amber / green) rating via an annual performance assessment, demonstrating its work as a partnership and the impact of its work on Neighbourhood Renewal Floor Targets.

Dudley has been fortunate in receiving a further 2 years NRF with £1,577,157 received for 2006/07 and £1,839,038 for 2007/08.
