The Community Safety Partnership brings together the Borough's key agencies and statutory partners:

It has set its priorities as:
The Partnership ensures that its plans and service delivery for each of these priorities are co-ordinated and complementary. In this way, the number of substance misusers who get treatment will be maximised, thus reducing acquisitive crime and the Partnership’s crime reduction and prevention initiatives will focus on reducing the number of people who become substance misusers. It differs from other theme partnerships in that it is a ‘statutory partnership’ (Crime & Disorder Reduction Partnership - CDRP) set up by the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.
