Welcome to the
Dudley Community Partnership
website!

The Dudley Community Partnership (DCP) brings together many partner organisations including health, the police and the council, with businesses and the voluntary and community sector.  One of our main aims is for all our partners to work effectively together to improve the quality of life for everyone in the Borough.

Revised Community Strategy 2010 - 2013 Cover
New and approved!  Community Strategy
- revised for 2010-2013

Creating employment, tackling obesity and substance misuse, preserving the borough’s heritage and reducing crime are all set to be outlined as key priorities in the vision of Dudley's revised Community Strategy.

Dudley Community Partnership will launch its revised Community Strategy at Dudley Concert Hall on Tuesday 23rd March.

The strategy, which runs under the heading ‘my borough – our borough’, is revisited every three years, and outlines the borough’s priorities. It outlines aspirations for improvements under six themes.

The six themes are jobs and prosperity, health and well-being, heritage, culture and leisure, environment and housing, individual and community learning and community safety.

NEW! Launch of the Dudley's online Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA)

JSNA is an ambitious new programme, to improve the way information on “needs” is used to inform service planning around people’s health and well-being across our Borough.
This new addition to our site pulls together, in a single, place, all the information which is available on the needs of our local population (‘hard’ data i.e. statistics; & ‘soft data’ i.e. the views of local people or “voice”).  This provides a resource for service professionals to analyse and identify; current and future health and wellbeing needs; the most important key areas for change; health outcomes that are not being met; health inequalities to be addressed; client groups with unmet needs, and services that require change. We will be working to develop and improve the site as more information becomes available.

Tackling Climate Change

Climate change is a serious problem that affects us all.  There are many people and organisations however, who are already taking action to reduce their impact upon climate change by reducing their carbon emissions and energy usage.

The Dudley Community Partnership has made a commitment to tackle climate change.  A Climate Change Group has been created that is developing and delivering activities to reduce the Borough's carbon emissions.
