Welcome to the Dudley Community Partnership website! The Dudley Community Partnership (DCP) brings together many partner organisations including health, the police and the council, with businesses and the voluntary and community sector. One of our main aims is for all our partners to work effectively together to improve the quality of life for everyone in the Borough. We will do this by delivering our Community Strategy.
Dudley's Cultural Strategy Consultation The new draft of the Cultural Strategy for the Borough is now open to consultation. The Strategy has been revised from the 2006-2009 Cultural Strategy and has been written by the Heritage, Culture and Leisure Partnership on behalf of the Dudley Community Partnership. Please follow the this link to view the revised Draft Cultural Strategy and to responded to the consultation. Please click here.
New and approved! Community Strategy - revised for 2010-2013 Creating employment, tackling obesity and substance misuse, preserving the borough’s heritage and reducing crime are all set to be outlined as key priorities in the vision of Dudley's revised Community Strategy. Dudley Community Partnership launched its revised Community Strategy at Dudley Concert Hall on Tuesday 23rd March. The strategy, which runs under the heading ‘my borough – our borough’, is revisited every three years, and outlines the borough’s priorities. It outlines aspirations for improvements under six themes. The six themes are jobs and prosperity, health and well-being, heritage, culture and leisure, environment and housing, individual and community learning and community safety. How Healthy is Dudley? Read the results of The Dudley Health Survey 2009, a postal survey of 16500 Dudley residents registered with Dudley GPs. The respondents answered questions on physical activity, diet, alcohol, smoking and general health and well-being. Click the link below to see charts and tables of the preliminary results which, where possible, have been compared with the 2004 Dudley Health Survey and the 1992 Dudley Neighbourhood Health Survey."
Tackling Climate Change Climate change is a serious problem that affects us all. There are many people and organisations however, who are already taking action to reduce their impact upon climate change by reducing their carbon emissions and energy usage. The Dudley Community Partnership has made a commitment to tackle climate change. A Climate Change Group has been created that is developing and delivering activities to reduce the Borough's carbon emissions.
